Below is a little sneak peak of whats on the horizon. We're in final stages of a new set of shirts!! This is a sample run of one of the new designs. Still deciding on the colors that we want to roll with. Its purple on white. The design is a classic propaganda poster of something you might have seen back in the day before our time, of course with "Goonz" references all over the shirt. Stay tuned for more.

I know everyone remembers these! They're baaackkkk. So Jordan FINALLY retroed the Jordan 11s right in time for christmas. Check your local retailer to cop a pair...I might have to cop two and put one on ice because my last pair terrible. I think everyone who ever had a pair knows that the sole gets all yellow and what not and I dont think there is a way to clean it. Stay tuned for new shirts in the new year. Might have make a shirt to match these shoes

What up peoples! First I want to say thank you for becoming our friend on facebook, its much appreciated. The past couple months have been a busy time for us and not much attention has been made on the actual website. We've decided that a new approach needs to be taken (hence the new design of the site) and some of the shirts people have been asking for will now be available very soon! When Halle came onstage to accept the Decade of Hotness award, she didn't just grab the trophy from presenter Jamie Foxx, she grabbed something else ... live on TV. They made out, mouth open, for nearly 8-9 seconds -- Jamie rubbed on Halle's ass, while she rubbed on his package. (ballerstatus.com)

Its Official

Some time was spent this weekend to put the finishing touches on the shirts. Here is a pic of the inside tag. It has the official Goonz stamp with the size and washing instruction icons. Update on the shopping cart - As some of you many know it takes some time to get a web shopping cart together, but we're making progress. The cart should be up and ready to go sometime this week. Skateboard G!

What up? Its been a few days since I last posted. Anyway we've been working hard at getting some collateral pieces in place for when the shirts drop. I spoke to the silk-screener this week and we should be ready to roll with a new line of shirts come Monday or Tuesday. I'll post pics as soon as I have them in hand. Today's post brings you an exclusive look into some of the production that takes place behind the scenes. In the past day we've put together a skateboard (we're considering a possible small line of custom Goonz boards), had some stickers and hang tags made as well. All pictures are from the shop that produced the items and the skateboard is just an idea that we're messing around with. I'm going to test putting a clear gloss varnish over the board to see how it holds up. If things go well, a few more will be produced in the near future with a limited availability. Enjoy.

Our latest entry takes us 12 stories up. We just put the finishing touches on our advertising space in VA. DC is about 8 miles down the road on the picture that shows what it looks like from the building. The banner we installed was 30' wide by 12' tall. The cost to advertise up there is pretty expensive but your sure to hit that commuter traffic that comes out of the city back into VA.

An update on the shirts - I received a call from my screen printer today, letting me know the shirts should be ready by Wednesday. I'll post pics of the shop and pics of the new shirts too once I get them.

Oh yeah...you didn't really think I put a banner up there did you? Or wait do you? Its hot outside...keep it cool. I'm out

Allow us to re-introduce ourselves

So some of you may know about the old cast of characters that were used on original GoonzGear shirts. Although we still plan to use those characters we felt like a little life needed to be shot into the Goonz. We got together with a bomb illustrator out of Cali and he was happy to get down with the sketch pad and make it happen. I wanted to share a little bit of the creative process with everyone and show how a simple sketch can turn into something dynamic with color and substance. The images below are the tail end of the creative process for General Giraffe and Lieutenant Lion. The characters were re-made in about a 2 month span. Going back and forth with the illustrator can take a while when you have other stuff going on like trying to get a new line ready. Stay tuned for more from GoonzGear. We'll have pictures up of the new threads real soon and they'll be available for purchase online and through select retailers in the DMV.

Almost THere

Well we're almost there. We have a couple new shirt designs on the presses right now! Tags are in, sewing machines are warmed up and we're ready to go. Its been a long time coming to get a new site up but its here now. We still have a little bit of work to do but I'm sure everyone will be happy once its up and running. Check back soon for the new shirts on the online store. Its possible some of the new designs will only be available online, but we'll let you know.
